So far I have tryed sone effects and different styles of the masthead, I still have a lot of work to do. This is one of the layouts I could use as well as the font and picture, I'm still struggling with the choice of colours.

ReplyDeleteMaybe use red, to match his guitar and 'Maiden shirt, and grey to blend in with his clothes, making the edges (where the picture's been cut) look smoother.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the suggestions, but I have intentionally used green to contrast the red and give a bit more colour, also with unsmoothed edges the picture looks unusual and different than other front cover pictures, it also adds up to the character and image of the magazine. :)
